We have posted about Huawei Ascend Mate 2 price tag a few days ago. In that post, the unveiled price of Ascend Mate 2 is 2988 RMB ($493). But, at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Huawei put CNY2,688 price tag or equal to $445 for Ascend Mate 2.

According to that info, we are sure there is a $48 gap between the unveiled price compare to the actual price.

The Ascend Mate 2 specs are 6.1 inches display with 720 pixel resolution, quad-core 1.6 GHz Hisilicon V9R1 combine with 2 GB of RAM, Android Jelly Bean 4.3, 13 MP of rear camera, 5 MP front camera.

There is also 16 GB internal memory and microSD slot for expandable storage. The Ascend Mate 2 also runs on 4.050 mAh battery that can be used to charge another devices.

Another variants of Ascend Mate 2 to sell outside of China will pack a quad-core 1.6 GHz Snapdragon 400 along with LTE connectivity.

There's no further info about the Ascend Mate 2 to sell outside of China. Word spread the company is still looking a local carriers partner in the United State to collaborate with.
